I know I have let a lot of people down in my posting or lack there of but I am back. My work schedule has decreased and I recently got a new keyboard so its sort of a motivating factor! Anyways, I don’t know if Adrian has said anything but I am typically a lot busier than her with my job so its a bit harder for me to consistently post. But, I promised her that I would make a better effort at it since she feels its very helpful for people to hear tips and what not from people like us that have made it work.

I finally got a chance to read a lot of Adrian’s posts…Yeh, I know I am a bad boyfriend for not reading her blog. LOL. But, anyways, I really had no idea some of the hurtful things people have said to her. She does not usually share that sort of stuff with me just because it does not bother her very much and she just lets stuff like that roll of her back. But, as her boyfriend, I definitely do not appreciate some of those things. A lot of them are downright borderline threats. You would think such a community that is engaged in innocent things like diapers and babyish type ideals that these types of things would not occur.

A lot of the things posted about her through her blog and on the various boards are honestly laughable and some of these people really should learn to just calm down. The accusations are so absurd and far-fetched that I honestly can’t help but laugh at them for entertainment. Gosh, if some of them only knew LOL. I won’t address a lot of the accusations and what not because I am not going to bring up some of the silly things a few select people say but I am sure they know who they are.

Anyways, I hope to provide a good perspective from a guy’s point of view that wears diapers 24/7 and also suffers from incontinence. I will try to post daily as Adrian seems to be trying to do. If there is anything particular people want addressed just let me know!

I don’t know if Adrian has touched on this but I want to talk about what I think is probably one of the most attractive features of a diaper to me. The crinkle of a diaper has to be one of the best sounds in the world. There is nothing better then putting on a diaper getting up and walking around only to hear that beautiful sound of “crinkle, crinkle”. It’s such a great sound and it is so unique. I don’t really know how to explain why the crinkle of a diaper is so great but I am sure many people would agree with me.

Possibly, it has to do with the babyish aspect of wearing diapers in general. But, I think it also is a sub-conscious thing that you are unique and most everyone around you is not wearing a diaper and you are. It almost makes you feel special, at least to me it does, and I feel like I stand out and am unique in my own way. I take a lot of pride honestly in that I wear diapers as I know that I have overcome incontinence in my life by managing it with diapers but also diapers I feel have provided me with so many avenues ranging from a comforting and secure feeling all the way to being able to meet new friends and contribute to the ABDL community. Plus, incontinence and diapers led me to my amazing girlfriend, Adrian. Sometimes, you just have to embrace what life throws at you and make the best of it. If you do that then most times you will find the positive in what looked like a negative and it could be for the best.

Most people would look at incontinence and wearing diapers as a negative. But, I say, something as simple as the crinkle of a diaper when I am wearing it provides me with a comforting and relaxing feeling in my mind and body that allows me to not only focus better but also concentrate. Not including all the benefits that diapers can allow, the crinkle alone (something so small) can provide such a major impact in my life. It’s true that the small things in life are the most precious because without that crinkle of a diaper then a diaper just wouldn’t be well…a diaper. Yes, it performs the same function but imagine a diaper that made an aluminum foil noise instead…I would hate that and it would be annoying. I say step back and look at the positives in wearing diapers and not so much what others think because something as simple as the crinkle of a diaper may be providing you with so many positives that you may not even realize. Think about it

I was asked the question of whether I thought there was more of a stigma about diapers in the US compared to other countries. I would definitely have to agree that there is a certain stigma of adult diapers in America more so then in other countries. Generally European countries have always been more accepting and more “free” in their thinking. Not as many things bother them. The US I think is pretty uptight about certain things and stubborn at that. While, I do agree with Adrian in that I do not think many people care in America necessarily care that you are wearing a diaper.

I think an important point to keep in my mind is that everything is relative. My experience is that I have rarely encountered anyone that cares that I wear diapers. I have been to multiple doctors and none of them seemed to care…of course they asked about it and I explained the whole incontinence ordeal but after that there really wasn’t anything more to it. But, I am sure some people have been to certain doctors and got a strange look – but honestly, I am a firm believer in that a lot of it comes off in how you act. If you act like its not a big deal then it won’t be most likely. But, if you come off nervous or like you are doing something wrong then of course a doctor could probably pick up on that and a lot of people could for the most part and might think more of it.

But, definitely I think in Europe and other countries, diapers are a not as big of a deal as it is in the US. I think the US is just in general more uptight. Other countries I think have a less uptight attitude and things are generally more accepted. But, this is just my experiences and perspective. Adult diapers I think are not a big deal to a lot of people. Obviously, if you don’t come across as some nervous and scared person or flaunt it around then I don’t think many people care too much. But, generally my opinion is Europe and other countries are a lot more accepting in regards to the whole diaper thing then the US. Unfortunate, but true. That is not to say people in the US need to be scared of others finding out – just use common sense on what you are doing and who you are doing it around.
